Agademics

Agademics is a partnership between the Orange County Fair, Centennial Farm and the Cooperative Extension 4-H program. The program helps young people understand and appreciate the important role agriculture plays in their everyday lives. Agademics is a free education program tailored to 5th grade students. It includes a day-long educational experience of non-formal, interactive activities involving plant and animal science, which complements the schools' science curriculum. Agademics gives students a chance to explore in an outdoor laboratory, performing hands-on activities such as planting seeds and making butter, allowing them to learn about agriculture in a fun and exciting way.
